It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Rural Resilience Foundation (RReF) is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. With a variety of active projects and a large volunteer staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals.

Meet the Team

Executive Director

Fadeelatu Yussif

Yussif Fadeelatu is a Creative Writer and a Community Development enthusiast. Fadeelatu is an alumnus of the Global Peace Chain, an alumnus of Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) West Africa Leadership Centre (RLC), West African Peace Ambassadors Network and African Change Makers Cohort 2 Fellow. She holds a bachelor’s Degree in Social & Development Administration from the University for Development Studies (UDS). Fadeelatu is motivated by her passion to see the rural young person especially the girl child live happy and productive lives and she relishes opportunities to develop and utilize her knowledge, skills, and attitudes in making positive change and impacts in the lives of people and organizations.

Project/Field Officer

Faiza Sualisu

Faizatu Sualisu is a University for Development Studies graduate with a bachelor of arts in Social Change Communication. Faizatu loves to have fun and impact the more vulnerable in society.

Administrative & Project Assistant

Mariam Abdul-Majeed

Mariam Abdul-Majeed holds a bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Archaeology from the University of Ghana. Recently completed an MA International Affairs degree from the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), University of Ghana. Mariam is passionate about issues of inequality, development, policy, governance and security. she possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Project Assistant

Mohammed Abubakari

Mohammed is currently a student of the University for Development Studies, studying BA Development Studies. He is currently the president of Development Education Students Association in his University.

Mohammed is a youth activist who is passionate about rural development.

Finance Officer

Seidu Abdul-Rahim

Abdul-Rahim is the current municipal Director of the National Identification Authority in the Savannah Region. He holds a master's degree in Economics, Finance and Banking from the University of Portsmouth. Also, an Alumnus of the University for Development studies where he studied Integrated Business studies with Management option.
